As the episode starts, Vegeta powers up and fires his “Final Flash” at Cell but, with the help of Piccolo regeneration abilities, Cell was unharmed. Vegeta then throws a pitiful little blast at Cell, backs away and says…<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Vegeta then throws a desperate onslaught of energy blasts at Cell. For some odd reason there were two shots in this scene that were cut out. They weren’t violent or anything like that, perhaps they were cut for time.<\/p>\n

The first shot was a pan shot of Vegeta shooting some blasts…<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The second shot was of Trunks and Krillin being enveloped in Vegeta’s blasts…<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As Vegeta continues, Cell simply walks up to Vegeta and punches him in the face. The shot of Vegeta shooting his blasts right before Cell punches him was shortened by about 2 seconds…<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The punch Cell landed on Vegeta wasn’t censored but, there is a slight difference between the two versions. In the uncut version we get a black screen at the moment the punch lands, and in the TV version we get a white screen. I don’t see the reasons but… <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

After the punch, Vegeta’s face is a bit bloody…<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Cell knocks Vegeta around a bit, the blood edits on Vegeta’s face are still present here. Cell then elbows Vegeta right in the back. There was a reaction shot of Vegeta screaming that was cut here…<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Vegeta then crashes into the ground and is knocked unconscious. With that, Trunks tells Krillin to bring Vegeta to Master Roshi’s house and give him a senzu bean. <\/p>\n

It’s Trunks turn to test his power against Cell. As Cell and Trunks go at it, there were two shots that were shortened by about a second…<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Eventually, Cell manages to get one shot in. In both versions we get the flash screen but only in the uncut version do we actually see the punch make contact…<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Cell is now gaining the upper hand. Unbeknown to Krillin though, it’s all a ploy so that Krillin can get Vegeta to safety. As Krillin see’s Trunks laying on the ground, he says to himself…<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Trunks then makes it obvious to Krillin that this is all a ploy. Krillin grabs Vegeta and gets out of there. Cell let’s Trunks know that he knew about his plan the whole time and he was just playing along. The two power up and ready themselves for a showdown.
