Trunks eventually tells him of The Hyperbolic Time Chamber and that Goku is training right now to defeat him. With that news, Cell decides not to kill Trunks. Instead, he wants to fight hold a martial arts tournament so that he can fight someone to test his limits. The episode ends soon after.
