Episode 82: The Strongest Super Saiyan! Trunks’ Power Unleashed!

After getting hit with a blast, Cell stands up and tells Trunks “in terms of raw power you have me bested”, my own strength doesn’t even begin to compare”. Then continues…

Meanwhile, Krillin lands with Vegeta on a remote island. Krillin gives him a senzu bean and Vegeta wakes up. Vegeta says to himself…

Back on the battlefield, Cell is now gaining the upper hand. There is a very short shot here that was cut of Cell chopping Trunks in the throat…

Back in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, Gohan has just watched Goku power past the level of a Super Saiyan and tells his Father “Cell’s going down for sure”. Goku replies…

Meanwhile, Cell tells Trunks that his transformation is useless. All he’s doing is flexing his muscles but has no speed. Trunks comes to realize that this is why Vegeta didn’t use this transformation. With that disheartening news, Trunks powers down and tells Cell…

To which Cell replies…

Krillin and Vegeta feel Trunks power down. Vegeta gets up, Krllin asks him what’s he doing? He yells to Krillin…

Before kills Trunks he asks him how he and his Father got so powerfull in such a short amount of time. Trunks eventually tells him of The Hyperbolic Time Chamber and that Goku is training right now to defeat him. With that news, Cell decides not to kill Trunks. Instead, he wants to fight hold a martial arts tournament so that he can fight someone to test his limits. The episode ends soon after.
