As the episode starts Vegeta allows Cell time to absorb Android 18 and become perfect so that Vegeta could actually have a challenge…
I should mention that most of the time Android 16 is shown, he has been edited for blood or oil on his face as he was in the previous episodes as well…
Cell soon notices Android 16 and 18 standing below on one of the islands. Trunks steps in to try and stop him from getting any closer to Android 18. Trunks attacks Cell and bashes him into a mountain, when we see Cell in the rubble he has a bit of blood on his mouth…
As Cell recovers from the attack, he closes in on Android 18. Trunks powers up before heading over to Cell and yells…
But before Trunks can attack Cell again, Vegeta kicks Trunks out of the way and has given Cell some time to absorb 18. As Cell talks to Android 18, there is a blood edit on his face. It’s very minor though, almost not even worth mentioning…
Krillin then says to himself…
Meanwhile on Kami’s lookout. Piccolo sees the dire situation on Earth and thinks to himself…
Back on Earth, Trunks emerges from the rubble. He yells to his Father that he’s making a huge mistake making Cell become perfect. There is a minor blood edit in this scene on Trunks face…
Trunks then blast Vegeta away. Android 18 is now trying to fight off Cell on her own but it’s no use. As Cell draws nearer and nearer to 18, Trunks swoops down and attacks. They do show the attacks in the TV version but they’re shortened by just a bit.
Meanwhile Vegeta is floating in an ocean somewhere via Trunks blast. Vegeta wipes his mouth with his hand, and notices blood on his glove. Enraged, he flys off back to where Cell is.
Back on the battlefield, Trunks continues to attack Cell. There is then a moment where Cell notices Android 18 and Krillin trying to get away. As Cell looks down at them there is a minor blood edit…
Cell then uses the Solar Flair technique to blind everyone and get a hold of 18. A helpless Android 18 then yells to Cell…
Cell then goes in for the kill and sucks Android 18 up in his tail. There are some shots here that were cut and shortened. This is the last frame we see in the TV version of Android 18…
A few seconds of that shot were cut…
A similar shot was also cut a few moments later…
But it’s not like they don’t show 18 going into Cell’s tail. Why was this shot OK…
But the others weren’t? Is it because we only see her feet in this shot? Was seeing too much of the body not alright with the censors? I don’t really understand that logic.
And with that, Cell becomes perfect. The episode ends soon after.
