The edit that follows is a little weird. It’s about 40 seconds of Goku and Gohan eating like crazy. I’m not sure why it was cut exactly but, if I had to guess I’d say it was because they didn’t want kids choking down food like this. If it wasn’t that then, perhaps it was for time.

With Goku gone, the others talk about what Goku might have up his sleeve. Trunks suggest perhaps a bigger transformation than a Super Saiyan. Vegeta quickly interrupts him…
Soon after, they feel Goku’s energy as he’s powering up for Korin to determine if he stands a chance against Cell. Vegeta can’t help but become enraged and says to himself…
