Cell easily avoids the android’s attack. The next time Android 17’s face is shown on screen he has some blood (oil?) on it that is removed in the TV version…
Android 17 then gets tail smacked in the face. In the TV version, most of the blood (oil?) was cut out. What was left was re-colored. I should also mention that from here on out whenever you see Android 17 with blood or oil on his face there’s a 99% chance it’s been re-colored.
Cell continues his attack on the android. A few seconds of Cell punching Android 17 while he’s already down was cut out…
As Android 18 and 16 look on, Android 16 decides it’s time he steps in. As he walks away from her, Android 18 yells to him…

Before Cell can absorb Android 17, Android 16 steps in and punches Cell, knocking him away from 17. With Cell knocked back for a second, Android 17 realizes 16 is gonna go head-to-head with Cell. Android 17 yells to him…
Android 16 shows off his strength and quickly gets the upper hand. He hurls Cell into the ground where he steps on his tail and rips it off. The shot of the actual tail being detached was replaced with a flash screen…
The shot of the tail quivering about on the ground has the meat part of the tail re-colored. We see this re-coloring again when Cell re-grows his tail…
With Cell fully recovered, he charges Android 16 and punches him in the face knocking him back and into the ground. On impact of the punch, there was a small amount of blood (oil?) that comes out of his mouth that was removed in the TV version. This re-coloring trend continues throughout the episode.
As Cell charges the android again, Android 16 fires his hand at Cell which gives the android the opening he needed to attack. As the Android knocks around Cell a bit, the blood or oil on his face is re-colored…
With Cell down, Android 16 charges up his arm cannons. He aims at Cell and fires. The android yells…
With Cell missing in action, Android 17 yells to him that he’ll still take him on. Cell appears behind #17 and quickly absorbs him. With Cell’s new power, the remaining androids try to flee but Cell quickly catches up to them.
With the desperate situation unfolding in front of him, Tien knows he might need to step. He thinks to himself…
Cell then blast 16 in the face knocking him back. Like I said before, the trend of re-coloring this blood/oil continues throughout the episode…
I should also note that there is a shot here that in the TV version, besides being censored, it also uses the digitally traced shot. In the home release, for some odd reason they used the original film shot. Check that out…
Cell plans on absorbing Android 18 next. Android 16 says to himself…
Just then Tien shoots a Tri-Beam at Cell. Tien yells to Android 18 that he can’t hold him off for long and for her to run off. The episode ends soon after.
