After a while Goku finally lands. Seems Goku has never met the boy. Soon after, the boy asks to talk to Goku in private. He asks for Goku to go Super Saiyan, the boy follows suit then takes out his sword and tells Goku he’s going to attack him, so he’d better dodge. Goku deflects each swing with just his finger. The boy and Goku subside and the boy says…
The boy tells Goku his name is Trunks and he’s from the future. Also, his dad is Vegeta. He goes on to tell Goku, two Androids will show up here soon. They’re super powerful, even for someone who beat Freeza with ease. They also can’t be controlled because they killed their master…
Next we see a flashback on an ambiguous being smashing the head of Dr. Gero. This was slightly cut to omit the being smashing the Doctor’s head…
Trunks continues to tell Goku…
There is then a flashback shot of all the Z-warriors getting killed. All of these shots, except for Krillin (who seems to melt), have their few last frames of animation removed…
He tells Goku that Gohan is the only one who manages to get away. Gohan teaches him how to fight like a Saiyan, he goes on…
Goku then wants to know what happens to him in the future, why isn’t he helping with the androids. Trunks tells him he doesn’t even get to fight because he will soon come down with a heart virus and…
Goku, disappointed replies…
Trunks inadvertently goes on to tell Goku his Mother is Bulma. While Trunks is telling Goku how it all went down, there were two small parts in this scene that were taken out of the TV version. One of Trunks talking about how Bulma got tired of Yamcha “playing the field”…
The another part omitted came where Trunks tells Goku that Bulma and Vegeta never married…

Trunks tells Goku not to mention anything to anyone because it might mess things up. Trunks fly’s off and Goku returns to his friends who’ve been waiting patiently. When they ask what the kid said to him, he is reluctant to say anything. Piccolo yells…
Piccolo tells Goku if he’s not up to the task, he’ll tell them himself while leaving out anything that would hurt Trunks…
After informing the others, the full gravity of Piccolo’s story was slow to sink in…
